Catharina Evens (piano) NL Catharina is een Belgische experimentele elektro-akoestische pianist die op zoek gaat naar een alternatief klankenpalet voor de akoestische piano. Dit doet ze onder meer door akoestische klanken live te manipuleren via elektronica en deze te versterken en te laten resoneren doorheen de volledige piano (zangbodem, klankkast, snaren,..). De typische pianoklank, die we doorgaans associëren met de akoestische piano, vervaagt en maakt zo plaats voor een eigenzinnig klank universum waarvan ze de verschillende muzikale mogelijkheden via improvisatie en compositie verder verkent. Aan de hand van granulaire texturen, speelse wispelturigheid, meeslepende pianistieke passages, naïeve frases, voorbijvliegende klankvlagen, percussieve accenten, ritmische sequenties en het aftasten van de grijze zones tussen verschillende muziekgenres, creëert Catharina zo haar eigen absurde klankenwereld vol verhalende fragmenten. EN Catharina is a Belgian experimental electro-acoustic pianist who seeks to explore an alternative sonic palette for the acoustic piano. She achieves this, amongst other things, by manipulating acoustic sounds live using electronics, amplifying them and allowing them to resonate throughout the entire piano (soundboard, soundbox, strings, etc.). The typical piano sound, which we usually associate with the acoustic piano, fades away, making way for a unique sonic universe whose various musical possibilities she further explores through improvisation and composition. Using granular textures, playful capriciousness, compelling pianistic passages, naive phrases, fleeting bursts of sound, percussive accents, rhythmic sequences and by probing the grey areas between different musical genres, Catharina creates her own absurd world of sound, full of narrative fragments. website |

Dear Uncle Lennie
Sam Commerford (sax), Camille-Alban Spreng (piano), Benjamin Sauzereau (guitar), Marco Giongrandi (banjo). NL Dear Uncle Lennie, een groep die voortkomt uit de bruisende Brusselse jazzscene, experimenteert met de kracht van klassieke songwriting en woordeloze verhalen via korte instrumentale stukken. De bijzondere bezetting bestaat uit Sam Comerford op sax, Benjamin Sauzereau op gitaar, Camille-Alban Spreng op geprepareerde piano en Marco Giongrandi op banjo. Hun tweede album Sister Juniper dat eind 2025 uitkwam bij BMC Records en bekroond werd door CHOC Jazz Magazine, raakt aan talrijke tradities en genres, van folk tot repetitieve minimalistische muziek, jazz en geïmproviseerde muziek. EN Dear Uncle Lennie, a group emerging from Brussels’ vibrant jazz scene, experiments with the power of classic songwriting and wordless storytelling through short instrumental pieces. The unique line-up consists of Sam Comerford on saxophone, Benjamin Sauzereau on guitar, Camille-Alban Spreng on prepared piano and Marco Giongrandi on banjo. Their second album, Sister Juniper, released in late 2025 on BMC Records and honoured by CHOC Jazz Magazine, draws on numerous traditions and genres, from folk to repetitive minimalist music, jazz and improvised music. website |

Stan Maris (accordeon & electronics) Werend Van Den Bossche (sax & fx), Tom Peeters (drums) NL Kin Gajo werd opgericht door accordeonist Stan Maris (Kreis, Ocean Eddie), die goed op weg is om een van de boeiendste artiesten van onze scene te worden. Samen met saxofonist Werend Van Den Bossche (Dishwasher, Sonic Hug) en drummer Tom Peeters (Elias D’hooge Trio) speelt hij een frisse en verrassende mix van hedendaagse jazz met hiphop-invloeden en innovatieve elektronica. Voor hun nieuwe album Tsuki (W.E.R.F., januari 2026) en gelijknamige concertreeks met JazzLab werkt Kin Gajo samen met visual artist Moon, die een manga maakt geïnspireerd door de muziek en die zo een al even originele visuele component bezorgt! Vinyl en manga worden samen uitgebracht voor deze tournee. Op die manier komt op en top hedendaagse muziek uit België in een wisselwerking met de Japanse variant van het beeldverhaal. Kruisbestuiving over de grenzen en disciplines heen EN Kin Gajo was founded by accordionist Stan Maris (Kreis, Ocean Eddie), who is well on his way to becoming one of the most exciting artists on our scene. Together with saxophonist Werend Van Den Bossche (Dishwasher, Sonic Hug) and drummer Tom Peeters (Elias D’hooge Trio), he plays a fresh and surprising mix of contemporary jazz with hip-hop influences and innovative electronica. For their new album Tsuki (W.E.R.F., January 2026) and the eponymous concert series with JazzLab, Kin Gajo is collaborating with visual artist Moon, who is creating a manga inspired by the music, thereby providing an equally original visual component! The vinyl and manga will be released together for this tour. In this way, cutting-edge contemporary music from Belgium interacts with the Japanese version of the comic strip. Met de jonge jazzmuzikanten Hendrik Lasure en Casper Van De Velde, gecombineerd met de ervaren pop-, jazz- en improvisatiemuzikanten An Pierlé en Koen Gisen, vormt APQ een avontuurlijk en hecht collectief. De band staat bekend om zijn intense live-ervaring, waarin gecomponeerde nummers met indringende teksten naadloos overgaan in vrijheid en spelplezier. Met een sterke podiumprésence en een vanzelfsprekende publieksconnectie weet APQ zowel grote festivals als intieme zalen te bespelen. Met de albums Wiga Waga en Ultimate Survival, die beide op lovende kritieken konden rekenen, bevestigt het kwartet zijn eigenzinnige en voortdurend evoluerende muzikale signatuur.
